Dave Babych at GM Place

Lucky Canuck fans lined up on the concourse of GM Place Saturday, January 19th to get an autograph and pose for a picture with Canuck Alumni Dave Babych.

Dave began his NHL career with the Winnipeg Jets in 1980-81. His 19-year NHL career had him play with the Harford Whalers following his time with the Jets before bringing him to Vancouver in 1991-92.

During his 7 seasons with the Canucks, Dave played a total of 469 games, and this steady blue-liner held a record of 32-140-172. During the Canucks ride to the Stanley Cup Finals in 1994-95, Dave provided 3 goals and 8 points.

The Boston Pizza traveling Canucks Alumni travel throughout the province playing in local charity games throughout the year.
