Crunch Time For Canucks

by Staff Writer / Vancouver Canucks

The Canucks let yesterday's game slip 5-3 to the Oilers in Edmonton after Josh Green's goal broke a series of slow starts. The other two Canuck goals were scored courtesy of the 2nd line by Daniel Sedin and Anson Carter. The Canucks are still managing to hold on to the top spot in the division with 34 points, just above Calgary who has 33.

You couldn't miss Matt Cooke in his red jersey at practice today. Cooke will wear red until his jaw has fully healed, and he no longer needs to identify himself as an injured player. Today the Canucks focused on rushing the net in the opponent's zone, and then talked to the media about playing an Eastern club for a change. Have a listen to the audio!
