Congrats to Jannik Hansen and his wife, Karen, who gave birth to twin boys early Sunday morning. Henrik was a little disappointed in the names evidently, “"I've been working on him for a lot of weeks and then I get the text this morning, Lucas and Daniel," Henrik said with a laugh. Canucks unflinching in their willingness to battle against league’s tough guys

Two games into his Canucks career and Tom Sestito has dropped the gloves twice already. Alex Burrows told Ed Willes he appreciated the effort “I thought Tommy (Sestito) set the tone early with a big hit in the middle and then had a fight. That was really good for us. You don't want to abuse it but once in a while they're good to set the tone and show you're ready to battle.” Read

Rapid Fire

- The Chicago Wolves shutout the Texas Stars 2-0 for Matt Climie's second goosegg in a week on Saturday. Darren Archibald scored his 7th of the season in the win. The second game of their Texas roadtrip didn't go quite as well, losing 2-1 to San Antonio. Andrew Ebbett had the lone Wolves marker.

- Brendan Gaunce had an off weekend for the first time in a month, as he was held off the scoresheet in both Belleville Bull losses. The other OHL prospects had an equally tough weekend, with Evan McEneny scoring the lone goal for Kitchener in a 6-1 loss to London.

- Henrik Sedin put on a dangling clinic against the Kings on Saturday.
