Zack Kassian more than just a physical presence in Canucks win over Flames

Rapid Fire

- Zack Kassain turns 22 today. So firstly, Happy Birthday! To celebrate let's see that slick shootout move from last night just one more time.

- As Derek Jory noted, blessed Kassian with perhaps the best headline they've come up with yet (high praise, they've come up with some real beauties).

- You may have noticed Cory Schneider bumbling the puck in his crease during the first period. We have a sneaking suspicion he may have been slightly distracted.

- And in actual hockey news, Brendan Gaunce, the Canucks first round pick in 2012, had two more goals in the Belleville Bulls win last night. That gives the centre 12 points in 8 games through January (7-5) and 35 on the season.

- Canucks prospects in action today include Henrik Tommernes in the SEL against Byrnas and David Hoznik may be getting another start for the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles following a strong 24 save win on Tuesday.
