- Brendan Gaunce may just be the hottest player in the OHL right now. Vancouver's 1st round pick last year scored twice, adding an assist in a 4-0 Belleville Bulls win giving Gaunce's team a commanding 3-0 lead over Sudbury. Gaunce has 15 points through 9 games.

- Also in the OHL, Evan McEneney and Frank Corrado look to build on their game three win over the London Knights as they try to knot up their series at 2-2. McEneny had two assists while Corrado notched a goal and a helper in the Rangers' 6-2 win.

- Meanwhile in Chicago, Jordan Schroeder has the longest active assist streak in the AHL 6games 1-7-8. The Wolves are in the middle of a dog-fight for the AHL playoffs and are in Grand Rapids tonight to face the Griffins.
