by Staff Writer / Vancouver Canucks
Vancouver, B.C. – Vancouver Canucks fans are invited to watch two live, televised pre season games on Canucks TV this September. The pre season broadcasts are the first since October 6, 2002, when Queen Elizabeth II attended the Vancouver vs. San Jose exhibition game.

The first pre season broadcast on Canucks TV features Vancouver at San Jose on Saturday, September 22nd at 7:30pm. One week later on Saturday, September 29th the final game of the pre season airs on Canucks TV featuring a Northwest Division rival match-up between the Canucks and Oilers in Edmonton starting at 5:00pm.

Only two previous pre season games have been broadcast in the history of the Vancouver Canucks. The first game was televised on Saturday, September 20, 1997 vs. the New York Rangers and the second was the Vancouver vs. San Jose date attended by the Queen.

In addition to the two televised pre season games on Canucks TV, every pre season game can be heard live on the Canucks official radio broadcaster, Team 1040 AM.  A complete broadcast schedule will be available at a later date. Canucks TV branded programming is televised on Rogers Sportsnet Pacific.
