…Canucks TV to also feature Sept. 29th game @ Edmonton and Pre-Season Special on Oct.1

The Vancouver Canucks are proud to announce that the official launch of Canucks TV on September 22nd
earned the highest television rating in Vancouver and British Columbia during the prime time Saturday night slot. Canucks TV will broadcast the final Canucks game of the 2007.08 pre-season game on Saturday, September 29th
at 5:00pm versus Northwest Division rival, the Edmonton Oilers. A one-hour Pre-Season Special will follow on Monday at 7:00 pm. Both programs will air on Rogers Sportsnet Pacific.

pre-season game at San Jose saw an audience of 129,000 throughout British Columbia and ranked as the number one program in Vancouver and the province in the prime time Saturday night time period.
Canucks TV is hitting the airwaves this season to bring even more Canucks programming to fans throughout the Province. A total of 25+ hours of unique Canucks programming on Sportsnet will be available to fans through new segments like “The Page,” a half hour show with prominent sports journalists and personalities, discussing, dissecting and debating topics surrounding the team, and “One-on-One,” a half hour show profiling Canucks players, coaches and management away from the ice.
