Vancouver, B.C. – Canucks Sports and Entertainment, in accordance with National Hockey League policy, announced today that the Stanley Cup Final series will be subject to enhanced security measures.
Security screening at Rogers Arena will be increased for the Stanley Cup Final to include the use of electronic devices in addition to the searches, pat downs and bag checks that are normally conducted prior to entering the arena. Please arrive early to home games as entry will take longer than usual and delays are expected due to heightened security (gates open at 3:45pm). Guests are asked to plan accordingly and are discouraged from bringing bags, briefcases or any other unnecessary items to reduce lineups at security screening points. All guests are subject to electronic wand screening, pat-downs, searches and bag checks, including purses. We thank you for your patience and cooperation when entering Rogers Arena for the Stanley Cup Final.
