Canucks sign right wing Dan Gendur

Vancouver, B.C. -Vancouver Canucks General Manager Mike Gillis announced today that the Canucks have signed free agent right wing Dan Gendur. In keeping with club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.


Gendur, 21, spent the 2007-08 season with the Everett Silvertips, recording 84 points (29-55-84) in 60 regular season games played and three points (1-2-3) in four playoff games. Over the span of four seasons, Gendur has appeared in 200 WHL games and registered 144 points (55-89-144) with Prince George and Everett.

The 5’11”, 190 lbs. native of Victoria, British Columbia was selected in the seventh round, 206th overall in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft by the Vancouver Canucks.
