Vancouver, B.C. - Vancouver Canucks President & General Manager Michael D. Gillis announced today that the Canucks have signed left wing Pascal Pelletier.
Pelletier, 30, appeared in 46 games with Langnau of Swiss League in 2012.13, collecting 35 points (19-16-35) and 76 penalty minutes. The 5’11”, 190-pound forward has played in 13 career NHL games with the Chicago Blackhawks and Boston Bruins.
The Labrador City, Newfoundland native has spent the majority of his professional career in the AHL with the Providence Bruins, Rockford IceHogs, Syracuse Crunch and Peoria Rivermen. In 357 career AHL games, Pelletier has collected 283 points (117-166-283) and 277 penalty minutes. IN 2007.08, he was named to the AHL First All-Star Team.
On the international stage, Pelletier was a member of Canada’s 2012 Spengler Cup winning team.
