Canucks Second Round Playoff Tickets Sold Out

by Staff Writer / Vancouver Canucks
Vancouver, B.C. - The Vancouver Canucks announced today that tickets for all three home games in round two of the 2007 Stanley Cup Playoffs have sold out.

During the 2006-07 season, the Canucks played their third consecutive season in front of sellout crowds at General Motors Place. The sellout record began over four years ago on November 14, 2002. Through the 2006-07 regular season and round one of the 2007 Stanley Cup Playoffs, the Canucks have played before a capacity crowd for 172 consecutive games. With today's announcement, the Canucks will extend their sellout streak to 174 consecutive games, with a possibility of extending it to 175 consecutive games should Game 6 (Home Game 3) in round two become necessary to play. The capacity of General Motors Place is 18,630.

For fans still wanting to purchase tickets, the club recommends checking Ticketmaster or for the possibility of game-day released tickets. Purchasing tickets through Ticketmaster or the Prime Seat Club is the only way to ensure tickets are valid.

Fans attending playoff games are invited to the Canucks tailgate event Believe in Blue' beginning 1.5 hours prior to each home game on the North Plaza, weather permitting. The Believe in Blue' tailgate party features live music, food, face painters and a Molson Canadian interactive zone. All fans in attendance are also encouraged to show their Canucks pride and to "Believe in Blue" by outfitting themselves in blue clothing. Official Canucks 'Believe in Blue' merchandise is available at Authentix, the Official Team Store of the Vancouver Canucks.
