Vancouver, B.C. – The Vancouver Canucks announced today that single game tickets for all home games in Round 3 of the 2011 Stanley Cup Playoffs will go on sale via phone and internet only on Tuesday, May 10 at 12:00 p.m. noon. Fans can purchase tickets online at www.ticketmaster.ca/canucks, or by calling Ticketmaster at 1-855-523-6800. Tickets will be available at the Rogers Arena Box Office and Ticketmaster Ticket Centres as of Wednesday, May 11th based on availability to avoid disappointing fans who traditionally line up for hours without successfully purchasing tickets. Tickets will only be distributed once the Round 3 game schedule is confirmed and announced.
Ticket prices for Round 3 begin at $137.25. Based on availability, each household will be eligible to purchase a maximum of six tickets per game.
Fans unable to secure tickets on the on-sale date are encouraged to sign up for the Last Minute Tickets Club to receive e-mail notices when tickets are released for purchase (canucks.com/lastminute) or check Ticketmaster every Monday morning for great seats released for the game(s) in that week. Holds are also released within 48 hours of the game day up until puck-drop. For more information on tickets, please go to canucks.com/tickets. Single game tickets purchased through Ticketmaster for playoff games not played in Round 2 and in future rounds will automatically be refunded at point of purchase.
Tickets for confirmed games may also be obtained through the Prime Seat Club once the Round 3 game schedule is announced and can be accessed at canucks.com/primeseatclub. The Canucks Prime Seat Club is a secure site where Season Ticket Holders can sell their seats for games they cannot or choose not to attend. Global Event Forum has partnered with the Vancouver Canucks as the “Official Playoff Fan Packages Partner.” Fans are able to access travel packages from Global Event Forum to see the Canucks play any home or away game by booking the packages through the Global Event Forum website at www.globaleventforum.com.
All Canucks Ticket Holders, including Blue Line wait list members, are provided the opportunity to purchase their playoff tickets in advance of the public as part of their benefits package.
Vancouver’s schedule and opponent for the Western Conference Finals has yet to be determined. An announcement is expected after Round 2 concludes for all teams.
