Canucks Report - Two to the Farm

by Staff Writer / Vancouver Canucks
November 30, 2009

On the heels of a 4-2 loss to the San Jose Sharks, the Canucks re-assigned defenceman, Aaron Rome and centre, Alex Bolduc Monday morning.

Rome will join the Manitoba Moose for a conditioning assignment with the AHL team. He joined the Canucks as a free agent this summer and has appeared in 10 games for Vancouver this season, registering an assist.

Bolduc was recalled October 17th to relieve the early injury woes to the Canucks roster and played in seven games before becoming victim to injury himself. Bolduc has been listed as day-to-day with a shoulder injury since October 29. He recently began skating sessions but hasn't seen any game action.

The two join a Manitoba Moose team that is 13-9-4 and currently sitting third in the North Division in the Western Conference of the AHL.

The Moose prepare to host the top team in the AHL, Rochester Americans Tuesday and Wednesday night. This is the first time the teams will meet this season.
