The Canucks face the Blackhawks Sunday night in Chicago, with Kane in the midst of a franchise-record 25 game point streak, which has him tied with Sidney Crosby’s 2010-11 25-game point streak for the longest in the NHL since 1992-93.
When these teams met last on November 21st in Vancouver, the Canucks came away with a 6-3 win thanks to a three-goal 3rd period and Sedinery to the tune of nine points from the Sedins.
Sunday’s optional morning skate in Chicago was attended by seven players and Jacob Markstrom; the fourth line of Derek Dorsett, Brandon Prust and Adam Cracknell all skated and they’re looking forward to beginning the team’s six-game trip on the right foot.
The fourth line has looked great for the Canucks over the last two games, both wins, and Prust said a major reason for that is their chemistry.
Prust also said he’s heard of this Kane fella, he thinks.
