Canucks Prospects Visit BC Children’s Hospital

by Staff Writer / Vancouver Canucks

Part of being a Canuck means giving back to the community, so during the 2015 Prospect Development Camp, these young Canuck hopefuls did just that. On July 9th, 17 prospects stopped by BC Children’s Hospital for a visit with a few Canucks fans.

The prospects were divided into three groups and toured around the hospital handing out autographed player cards, books, and taking pictures with the patients and their families. As proven by the following tweet from Jake Virtanen, the prospects enjoyed the visit as much as the kids.

When asked his thoughts on the visit, Canuck hopeful Anton Cederholm, said that “For me, it’s always been about being great on and off the ice.”

After a busy week of intense training schedules, the prospect visit to the BCCH provided a perfect opportunity for team prospects to learn what it truly means to be a Canuck.
