Canucks home game 3 playoff tickets on sale Saturday

Vancouver, B.C. – The Vancouver Canucks announced today that approximately 1,800 single game tickets for Home Game 3 (series Game 5) in Round 1 of the 2009 Stanley Cup Playoffs will go on sale via phone and internet only on Saturday, April 18th at 12:00 pm. Fans can purchase tickets online at, or by calling Ticketmaster at (604) 280-4400, or 1 (800) 663-9311. General Motors Place Box Office and Ticketmaster Ticket Centres will not be used to avoid disappointing those fans that traditionally line up for hours without successfully purchasing tickets.

Ticket prices begin at $105 for Home Game 3 of Round 1 versus the St. Louis Blues, scheduled to be played April 24th at 7:00 pm. To accommodate as many fans as possible, each household will be eligible to purchase a maximum of four tickets. If the game is not played, Ticketmaster will automatically refund purchases. The on-sale dates for subsequent home games will be announced as the scheduled game dates near.

Fans who are unable to secure tickets on the on-sale date are encouraged to check Ticketmaster regularly within 48 hours of game day up until puck-drop as a select number of tickets may be released for purchase. Tickets may also be obtained through the Canucks Prime Seat Club ( once the game is confirmed to be played and tickets are no longer available through Ticketmaster. The Canucks Prime Seat Club is a secure site wherein Season Ticket Holders can sell tickets they cannot or choose not to use.
