Cole Cassels and Jared McCann go streaking, while Jake Virtanen scores a beauty.

Darren Archibald netted his sixth goal of the season on Wednesday, opening the scoring just 37-seconds into the game. The big winger also took his first penalty in 13 games.

Alex Friesen has now gone 11 games without a goal. Since scoring his first goal during the 2013-14 season, he hadn’t gone more than seven games without. Friesen also picked up his third fighting major of the season on Friday.

The rookie forward also had nine shots on goal in those three games, and has now gone 32 straight games collecting at least one shot on goal. His 87 shots on the season rank second on the team and sixth among 1994-born forwards in the AHL.
