VANCOUVER, B.C., — The Canucks for Kids Fund is proud to announce that it has opened bidding on an online auction in support of the Dice and Ice Benefit.
Dice and Ice is a sold-out event which will feature the entire Vancouver Canucks team in a casino themed night November 16, 2009. Proceeds from the night will benefit Canuck Place Children’s Hospice and Canucks Autism Network as well as other initiatives supported by the CFKF.
For the third consecutive year, the online auction will be available prior to the event itself. A number of unique items are available to bid on online as of October 16, at 10:30 a.m. PST until November 9, 2009 at 12 p.m. PST. Proceeds from the auction will support the Canucks for Kids Fund*. Items can be bid on through the NHL Auction website at canucks.com/auction.
This year we are offering the unique opportunity for one lucky bidder to own a rug cut from the Vancouver Canucks locker room. The rug has not only been walked on by many Canuck legends, but it also features a hockey rink design and measures10’5” x 21’5”.
