Vancouver, B.C.- The Vancouver Canucks announced an exciting schedule of fan-focused events today, highlighted by a pre-game team autograph experience and a 50/50 jackpot starting at $400,000. Headlined by two Sedin bobblehead nights, a South Asian Celebration game, a Family Game with a 1:00 PM start and annual Fan Appreciation Night, fans can look forward to an action-packed finish.

Henrik and Daniel Sedin bobblehead nights celebrate their recent 1,000-point milestones; the first brothers in NHL history to each accomplish the record. Only 8,000 exclusive bobbleheads will be presented to fans each night with early doors scheduled open at 5:30 PM.

South Asian Celebration Night features the story and contributions Canadian South Asians have made to hockey and hockey culture in British Columbia. Robin Bawa, the first Canadian South Asian to play in the NHL will drop the ceremonial puck, while Hockey Night in Canada in Punjabi broadcasters join in-arena game reporting accompanied by live musical performances from Delhi 2 Dublin, bhangra dancers and South Asian cuisine.

With a 1:00 PM puck drop, March 31st vs Columbus, this Canucks Family Game offers fans the chance to meet their favourite players on the red-carpet, pre-game outside Rogers Arena from 10-10:40 AM. Further details about the free pre-game experience coming soon.

Fan Appreciation Night caps off the final home game of the season recognizing passionate and loyal Canucks fans for their support. A massive 50/50 jackpot will be seeded with unclaimed funds and start at $400,000. Also featured are player awards chosen by fans, in-game prizing and special food and beverage offerings. Early doors are scheduled to open at 5:30 PM.Fan voting for the team awards will open on Friday March 23rd.
On March 27th the Canucks will honour the career and 60th anniversary of Willie O'Ree's debut NHL game, with him in attendance. O'Ree broke the colour barrier in 1958 playing for the Boston Bruins and is the NHL's Diversity Ambassador.
On April 3rd Rogers Arena will become an "Autism Aware Facility' in recognition of World Autism Awareness Day. The exterior of Rogers Arena and stanchion lights above the ice will be turned blue, a symbol recognizing people living with autism. Canucks goaltender, Jacob Markstrom will wear a custom Canucks Autism Network mask and every player will wear a CAN sticker on their helmets.
