VANCOUVER, B.C., - The Vancouver Canucks, in conjunction with the National Hockey League, released their 2015.16 regular season and pre-season schedules today. The Canucks open the regular season with an exciting home-and-home series against 2015 playoff rival the Calgary Flames, beginning on Wednesday, October 7th at Calgary, followed by the home opener on Saturday, October 10th at Rogers Arena.
The 2015.16 NHL season marks the third year of a league-wide, four-division format providing fans the opportunity to see every team in every arena. Marquee match-ups highlighting the Canucks schedule at Rogers Arena this season include the Montreal Canadiens on Tuesday, October 27, the Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks on Saturday, November 21 and Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday, February 13. The busiest night of the week is Saturday with 15 games, followed closely by Tuesday and Thursday when 14 games are scheduled each night in 2015.16.
The Canucks schedule features 29 games against Pacific Division opponents, 21 games against remaining Western Conference teams and another 32 games against Eastern Conference clubs.

The Canucks will play 12 back-to-back series in 2015.16 with nine taking place on the road, one at home, one road/home series and one home/road back-to-back split. The Canucks will make 14 road trips and host 14 home stands. Vancouver's longest road trip consists of seven away games from November 7 - 18. The Canucks longest home stand ranges seven games from December 26 - January 11.
The Vancouver Canucks will play eight pre-season games beginning September 21 versus the San Jose Sharks as part of Kraft Hockeyville 2015. The Canucks will play four games at Rogers Arena, playing host to San Jose (September 22), Calgary (September 26), Arizona (September 28), and Edmonton (October 3). The Canucks hit the road for games in Calgary (September 25), San Jose (September 29), and Edmonton (October 1).
