Vancouver, B.C. - The Canucks for Kids Fund is pleased to announce a 50/50 raffle to help raise funds in support of Canuck Place Children's Hospice. The special raffle is part of a series of 50/50 draws the Canucks for Kids Fund is hosting to help its beneficiaries or partners replace some of the funds they would otherwise lose due to cancelled events and galas during the pandemic.

Canuck Place Children's Hospice provides complex pediatric palliative care for more than 818 children with life-threatening illnesses and their families, across BC and Yukon. Services include medical respite and family support; pain and symptom management; 24-hour phone consultation support; art, music, and recreation therapy; end-of-life care; and grief, loss, and bereavement counselling. All program services are provided at no cost to families. This year, Canuck Place celebrates 25 years of providing care for children and families ensuring the shortest lives should be the fullest of them all.
The Canucks for Kids Fund has held several online 50/50 raffles supporting Covid-19 Relief efforts. To date, the previous raffles generated $4,369,231 ($8,738,460 total jackpot) for local charities, including organizations supporting community nourishment, mental health, and children's support programming during COVID-19 relief efforts.
