Behind the Lens: Player-Father Road Trip (Day Four)
by Jeff Vinnick / Vancouver Canucks
![]() Canuck Dad's will join the players on the team charter, attend both games, and have a chance to see the everyday off-ice NHL business. This trip is a great opportunity for the fathers to meet all of the Canuck personnel, other fathers, and most importantly, gives them a chance to spend some quality time with their sons. Jeff Vinnick has kindly agreed to share a few thoughts, and hopefully a slew of pictures over the next week as he captures action behind the scenes. Nashville, Day Four: ![]() His short trip to Chicago was all he needed to test his conditioning and he says he is more than ready for the big game tonight against the Preds. Kevin says it was great to play with the boys from the Manitoba, and he laughs as he claims he was the last one to touch the puck for the overtime goal that was credited to Moose goalie Drew MacIntyre. ![]() My bet is that this is a day the dads won’t ever want to end. I’ve had the pleasure of talking to most of them and they are all extremely grateful to the Canucks organization for bringing them on this trip and letting them live vicariously through their children. |
