Alumni to play against Pocomo Youth Services

On November 22, 2008, in Coquitlam, the Canucks Alumni will take to the ice against PoCoMo Youth Services Society in a charity game that will support their mobile drop-in centre and youth outreach program, Project Reach Out.

WHEN: Saturday, November 22
TIME: 7pm-9pm (Doors open at 6pm)
WHERE: Coquitlam Sports Centre (633 Poirier st)
COST: $12 Adult / $5 Youth (14 and under) CASH DOOR
Project REACH OUT, an innovative after-hours mobile youth outreach program in the Tri-Cities area providing support and services to street involved youth ages 12-18. Project Reach Out’s mandate is to identify any youth, youth who are involved in at-risk behaviors, or youth who are maybe exploring at-risk behaviors, create connections, relationships, and provide support and services.

PoCoMo Youth Services Societyis an independent, community based registered charity established in 1992. A grass-roots organization, our mandate includes the development and delivery of innovative programs and services for youth who may be disadvantaged, marginalized, or at-risk.

PoCoMo relies on community fundraising and grants to provide much needed services and help fill a gap in services.
