MONTREAL - Last year's sixth-place finish is quickly forgotten as Cole Caufield and the United States take home gold at the World Junior Championship.

Both Guhle and Caufield were kept off the scoresheet in a low-scoring affair.
The first-round picks put two shots on net, respectively, though Caufield held an advantage in ice time, spending 16:22 on the ice compared to Guhle's 14:10.
Throughout the tournament, Caufield scored two goals and three assists in seven games, including a game-winning goal.
Guhle finished the tournament with two goals, one assist as well as a +8 rating. He will be eligible to take part in the tournament next year.
2022 Horizon
The 2022 World Junior Championship will once again be hosted in Canada, running from Dec. 26 to Jan.5. The games will take place in Edmonton, as well as Red Deer.
Group A will feature the United States, Russia, Sweden, Slovakia, and Switzerland. Canada, Finland, Germany, the Czech Republic, and Austria will play in Group B.
