MONTREAL - Forward Will Bitten and the Hamilton Bulldogs won the OHL title on Sunday afternoon, clinching a spot in the Memorial Cup in the process.

The Bulldogs posted a 5-4 win over the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds to secure the Rogers OHL Championship Series in six games.

Bitten registered four goals and 11 points in 21 games during Hamilton's OHL title run.
The Bulldogs will open the Memorial Cup on Friday, May 18 against the host Regina Pats and fellow Canadiens prospect, defenseman Cale Fleury.
The last three winners of the Memorial Cup have come from the OHL ranks: Windsor (2017), London (2016) and Oshawa (2015).
Meanwhile, Habs hopeful Alexandre Alain's season came to a close on Sunday as the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada suffered a 2-1 loss to the Acadie-Bathurst Titan in Game 6 of the QMJHL's President Cup Final.
Alain enjoyed a stellar postseason. He amassed a league-leading 16 goals and ranked second with 30 points in 22 games.
