Mothers - Day

MONTREAL - Over the course of the 2017-18 season, we were lucky enough to catch up with some of our players' biggest fans for HabsTV: their moms.

In a matter of seconds, you can tell just how proud they were of the people their sons have become, and what they've accomplished in their respective hockey careers.
That, of course, wouldn't have been possible without plenty of motherly love and support over the years.
Today, we salute hockey moms the world over for their willingness to always go the extra mile for their kids, for their guidance, and for doing everything they can to help them reach their goals in life.
Thank you for always being there! Happy Mother's Day!
Now, we invite you to sit back and enjoy these heartwarming "Hockey Moms" clips.
Mary Mete on Victor Mete
"I wish I could describe how I feel, but I can't. It's just such an amazing, surreal, proud moment. If this is what proud feels like, it's awesome."

Della Gallagher on Brendan Gallagher
"I just like the kind of person he is. I've seen him interact with a lot of his teammates now. I'm just really proud that he's a good person and a good teammate and people like being around him. Hockey's always extra and I'm proud of that. But, I'm also proud of what he's accomplished in life."

Jennifer Lindgren on Charlie Lindgren
"When Charlie was younger, he was little. He was like really tiny. He grew at a later date, so when a lot of guys were picked and things were happening, he wasn't one of them because he was just so small. He just had to do whatever it took. Where some guys were big enough to block pucks, they were just that size and it was easier for them. For Charlie, it wasn't. That's where I think his athleticism has come into play. He will just battle because that's what he had to do when he was little, and he continues to do it now."

Lisa Reilly on Mike Reilly
"Mikey has always been fun to watch. Everybody says it, just offensively how he can kind of do some things, and moving the puck and things. Seeing him kind of do that again. Those are for sure great memories back in college, and in even in Penticton, I'd say. He's just a natural."
