You're a beauty, Tomas!

Tomas Tatar has played just 72 of his 499 career NHL games in a Canadiens uniform, but he's already a beloved player in Montreal

BROSSARD - It didn't take Tomas Tatar long to become a fan favorite in Montreal.

The start of the regular season was still several weeks away when the Slovak sniper impressed the Bell Centre faithful with this dandy of a shootout goal on Antti Niemi during the Red vs. White Scrimmage on September 16.

Ten days later, Tatar scored this beauty in the Habs' penultimate preseason game against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Talk about a pretty individual effort…

When the games finally began to count in the standings, Tatar delivered his first multi-goal game of the season on October 13 against Pittsburgh.

He followed that up with a three-point showing against the Detroit Red Wings on October 15, lighting the lamp once and adding two assists.

We all remember the events of November 1, when the Canadiens rallied to down the defending Stanley Cup champions on home turf.

Tatar connected with Brendan Gallagher on this highlight-reel goal during the middle frame.

Just a few days later, Tatar began a remarkable scoring stretch during which he would find the back of the net six times in six games.

He kicked things off with a two-goal performance at Madison Square Garden on November 6.

Come November 10, Tatar netted his first game-winning goal as a member of the Canadiens.

It came against the team that dealt him to Montreal back in September.

We really, really liked this breakaway marker one week later in Vancouver.

Goaltender Jacob Markstrom didn't stand a chance when Tatar let his wrist shot go after taking a perfect feed from defenseman Jeff Petry.

His final goal in November was also a sweet one, particularly because it came against the rival Boston Bruins.

Tatar kicked off December in style with a highlight-reel assist on a breakaway goal by captain Shea Weber shortly after his return to active duty.

He also scored a goal, adding to his 28th birthday celebration.

Then came this tip-in strike with just 77 seconds left in regulation to put the Canadiens over the top in Chicago on December 9.

On December 28 in Sunrise, Tatar was relentless against the Florida Panthers and goaltender Roberto Luongo.

After getting off to a slow start to begin 2019, Tatar came up big in Columbus on January 18.

On January 20, he dazzled the fans in Montreal who braved a wicked winter storm to attend the club's Skills Competition.

Tatar went 4-for-4 during the shooting accuracy portion of the event.

Among Tatar's six goals in February, we believe this stellar maneuver in Michigan late in the month was the best of the best.

And on March 1, we wholeheartedly appreciated this crazy feed to Gallagher for a tally in Manhattan.

Take a bow, Tuna! You've certainly earned it.
