MONTREAL - Just in time for the holidays, Tricolore Sports is dropping the third iteration of its CHic collection by Angela Price and Julie Petry, and it's better than ever.

Price and Petry have teamed up for a collab with the Canadiens' official team store for a third-straight season - but there's a big new addition this time around.

CHic started as a women's collection, but this year for the first time, there's a men's line to go with it - and the Habs players definitely had their say in how things would turn out.

"We definitely wanted to incorporate pieces for our husbands this year. They actually gave their opinions more. It was fun to see them approving things when we would ask their opinion," shared Petry. "We think they fit seamlessly into what they would wear."

In fact, that's exactly how the entire third collection came together - by hand-picking the most popular items from the past and using them to influence the new look.

"For our inspiration for this year's line, we took everyone's favorite pieces from last season and drew off that," explained Price, whose husband is the winningest goaltender in Canadiens history.

Whittling down the collection to just a few of her favorite designs may have proven difficult, but pinpointing her preferred item from the 2019-20 edition was easy.

"My favorite from this year is this cutoff hoodie. It's so cozy; it feels like butter on the inside," described Price. "It's just something I see myself wearing every day."

As for Petry, her vote was for something that allows for a bit more customization.

"I am loving this denim jacket that we did," she declared. "It's a limited edition. There are going to be a couple of fun things that people can add to them and personalize on their own. It's become my favorite."

With clothing for men, women, and children, there's something for everyone - and there's something for every season, too.

"This year's collection has so many pieces, it's great for layering," outlined Price. "We have everything from a tank to a jacket, so it can really can carry around year-round."

As always, 10 percent of sales of the CHic collection will be donated to the Montreal Canadiens Children's Foundation. The new collection will be released on Saturday, November 16, and Price and Petry will be in-store during the game to greet fans for the launch event. For tickets to the game, click here.
