NEW YORK / TORONTO - Platinum-selling country music star Tim Hicks and JUNO Award-winning singer-songwriter Serena Ryder have joined the entertainment lineup for the
2017 Scotiabank NHL100 Classic™
, the outdoor game between the Ottawa Senators® and Montreal Canadiens® on Saturday, Dec. 16 at Lansdowne Park in Ottawa, the National Hockey League announced today. The game, which will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the League's first games played on Dec. 19, 1917, will be broadcast live on Hockey Night in Canada and TVA Sports in Canada and on NBCSN in the U.S. at 7 p.m. ET.

The Pregame Concert presented by SiriusXM featuring Tim Hicks will begin the game day festivities at Lansdowne Park with a performance of Hicks' Top 10 hits, as well as new music, and will be featured during player introductions. His GOLD-certified hit song, "Stompin' Ground," will be highlighted in the game broadcast, presented by SiriusXM.
The anthem ceremony will feature Ryder's rendition of the Canadian National Anthem; a three-member flag party comprised of members of the Canadian Forces Supporting Unit in Ottawa; 50 members of the Canadian Armed Forces, including the Royal Canadian Navy, Canadian Army, Royal Canadian Air Force and Canadian Special Operations Forces Command based in Ottawa; and two CF-18 Hornets from the 3 Wing Canadian Forces Base in Bagottville, Quebec.
The second intermission is presented by Ticketmaster, featuring a performance by multi-platinum recording artist Bryan Adams. During the game, the NHL will reveal the Greatest NHL® Moment Presented by Coors Light and Pepsi Zero Sugar, as selected by fans online at NHL.com.

Tim Hicks
