MONTREAL - Here's a numerical look at Saturday's exhibition game between the Canadiens and the Senators in Montreal.

39 – Number of career hits dished out by Alexei Emelin against Senators, his second-highest regular season total behind just the Boston Bruins, who have felt the Russian’s wrath 43 times during his time with the Habs.

100 – Number of additional career bouts Brandon Prust held over his opponent Mark Borowiecki on Saturday night, who counted just three heading into the pair’s on-ice duel.

9:42 – Number of minutes played by Andrei Markov in the first period alone, over two minutes more than teammate Tom Gilbert, who was second with 7:32.

17 – Number of multi-point games registered by P.K. Subban a season ago, including five in the playoffs. The Canadiens’ star defenseman had three multi-point evenings over the course of the 2014-15 preseason, finishing the exhibition schedule with six assists and seven points.

2 – Number of shots blocked by Pierre-Alexandre Parenteau, who did not return to the ice after taking a puck to the skate in the neutral zone. Playing just over eight minutes on the night, Parenteau nevertheless registered an assist against the Sens.

2 – Average number of goals allowed by Carey Price over the preseason, giving up just six goals in three games to opposing teams.
