by Staff Writer / Montréal Canadiens

MONTREAL – Here's a numerical look at Thursday night's preseason game between the Habs and the Senators at the Bell Centre.

490 – The number of days that have passed since the last game the Habs had a captain in the lineup. By taking part in this evening’s game, Max Pacioretty became the first to wear the ‘C’ on his jersey since Brian Gionta’s last game with the Canadiens on May 29, 2014

1:05 – Time elapsed in the game before the Canadiens opened the scoring as Andrei Markov’s backhand deceived the vigilance of Craig Anderson just 65 seconds

6 – The number of players in the Canadiens lineup Thursday night who were not in the lineup when the Canadiens eliminated the Senators in Game 6 on April 26, 2015 including Zack Kassian, Alexander Semin, Brian Flynn, Sven Andrighetto, Charles Hudon and Noah Juulsen.
1 – Number of assists amassed by Max Pacioretty in his first game of the preseason, as the captain finds Nathan Beaulieu sneaking in from the slot to make it 2-0 for the Canadiens

4 – The amount of hits delivered by Zack Kassian during the game, the most by any Habs player Thursday night.
4 – Number of games since the start of pre-season when the Canadiens first tested out the new three-on-three format. On Thursday night, regardless of the score the game headed into overtime
