MONTREAL -- Here’s a numerical look at the Habs-Sabres showdown Saturday night.

5 – Number of games, including Saturday night, that Buffalo Sabres’ captain Craig Rivet has watched from the press box as a healthy scratch this year.

14 – Number of points picked up by Andrei Kostitsyn in 14 games at the Bell Centre so far in 2010-11.

2 – Maximum number of consecutive games the Canadiens have lost this season, rebounding again from Friday night’s loss to Atlanta to beat the Sabres on Saturday night.

3 – Number of television stations thankful for the seven-second delay on Saturday night, with Sabres coach Lindy Ruff putting their censors to work after a first-period melee resulted in a two-minute Buffalo penalty.
