by Staff Writer / Montréal Canadiens
OTTAWA – Here’s a numerical look at the Canadiens' 3-2 shootout win over the Senators on Thursday night at Scotiabank Place.

100 - Career wins for Guy Carbonneau behind the Canadiens' bench, after Thursday night's win.

3 – Senators converging on Andrei Markov, whose shot eluded them all to score the tying goal.

27:33 – Ice time logged by Josh Gorges, a season high and the most of any player on the night. Gorges spent a game-high 5:45 on the ice while the Canadiens were shorthanded.

608 – Career points for Saku Koivu after scoring in the first period, moving the Habs captain to within four of 11th-place Mats Naslund on the Canadiens’ all-time list.

4 – Straight victories the Canadiens have picked up against the Senators, outscoring them 17-7 over a stretch that began March 24, 2008 at the Bell Centre.

69 – Percent success rate for Koivu in the faceoff circle against the Sens, the best on either side.

6 – Times this season the Habs have needed a shootout to decide a winner, coming out on top on four occasions.

2 – Assists recorded by Sergei Kostitsyn, his second multi-point game of the season.  He last picked up at least a pair of points back on Oct. 11 in Toronto.
