by Staff Writer / Montréal Canadiens
RALEIGH – Here’s a numerical look at the Canadiens-Hurricanes tilt Tuesday night in Carolina.

5 – Goals scored by Robert Lang on the road this season.  The Czech center has scored lit the lamp just once on home ice.

48 – Shots faced by Carey Price against Carolina, a season and career-high for the sophomore goaltender.

83 – Percentage of face-offs won by Steve Begin, the most by any center in the game.  The veteran sparkplug won five of his six draws on the night.

6 – Goals scored by the Canadiens in regulation over their last four games, a stretch that has seen them pick up only one win.  The Habs had notched 15 goals in the four previous contests.

15 – Face-offs won by Rod Brind’Amour on Tuesday night.  The veteran pivot’s 62.5% success rate so far this season ranks him third in the NHL.

7 – Shots taken by Ray Whitney, the most for either team.
