MONTREAL - At the midpoint of the season, the Canadiens boast a 20-13-8 record after 41 games to rank fourth in the Eastern Conference. Here’s a numerical look at the Habs’ opening half of the 2007-08 season.

18-- Team-leading number of goals scored by Alex Kovalev in 2007-08, tying his total for all of last season.

22 -- League-leading number of power-play points posted by Kovalev this season.

18 -- Number of Canadiens draft picks to have suited up for the Habs this season, including all five of Montreal's top picks from 2001 through 2005.

13 -- Number of Habs road wins so far this season, the NHL’s third-best total.

48 -- Points amassed by Montreal through 41 games, the second-highest total posted by the Canadiens since 1992-93.

3 -- Number of Habs to have reached the 1,000 game mark this season, including Roman Hamrlik, Bryan Smolinski and Alex Kovalev. 

10 -- Saku Koivu’s rank among on the Canadiens’ all-time assists list with the Habs’ captain having just surpassed the 400 mark.
