by Staff Writer / Montréal Canadiens

TAMPA – Here's a numerical look at the Habs-Lightning matchup at the Tampa Bay Times Forum on Saturday night.

93 – Number of players drafted in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft that have now played at least one game in the NHL, with Greg Pateryn donning the Habs uniform for the first time Saturday night while Steven Stamkos played his 350th game with the Lightning to make him the most experienced player from the class of ’08.

2 – Number of games played by Gabriel Dumont against his old coach, Guy Boucher’s team, with the 22-year-old only having played a total of only four career-games in the NHL.

3 – Number of shots logged by Michael Ryder in Saturday night’s first period against the Lightning, getting some solid chances and accounting for 43% of his team’s 7 opening frame shots on goal.

2:14 – Ice time logged by the defensive pairing of Josh Gorges and P.K. Subban during a monster first-period shift, with the Habs duo helping to keep the Lightning trapped in their own zone from 15:21 to 17:35 of the opening period of action.

28 – Percentage of the Canadiens first goals of a match this season that have been scored by Tomas Plekanec, with the Habs center repating the feat for the seventh time of the campaign in the second period against the Lightning.

8 – Number of goals scored by Brian Gionta so far this season, with the Habs captain equalling his total from last year on Saturday night by banging home a loose puck on a Canadiens power play to score his team’s second goal of the night.

6 – Number of points racked up by defenseman Alexei Emelin ovet the course of his last six games with the Russian rearguard tying the game in the third frame with a hard slapper from the point.
