UNIONDALE – Here's a numerical look at the Habs-Islanders matchup at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum on Tuesday night.

699 – Number of games played by Francis Bouillon in the NHL with the veteran defenseman on the cusp of number 700 which he’ll play Thursday night against the Hurricanes in Carolina.

6 – Number of times this season in which Tomas Plekanec scored the first goal of the night for the Habs, with the Czech center getting his team started on the right foot again Tuesday night after taking a perfect pass from Michael Ryder.

14 – Number of career goals scored by the Tomas Plekanec against the Islanders, with the Kladno native enjoying more success against the New York franchise than any other team in the NHL.
