6,600 – Number of days since the Canadiens last played a postseason game at Madison Square Garden, dating back to a playoff tilt against the Rangers on April 26, 1996.

6 – Number of shots blocked by Josh Gorges in the game, accounting for nearly a quarter of his team’s total blocks in Game 3.

8 – Number of times, in eight games this postseason, in which the Canadiens were outshot by their opponents, including Game 3 in New York.

116 – Number of playoff points Daniel Briere has racked up in his NHL career following his go-ahead goal in the third period, now tied for fifth among all active players with Henrik Zetterberg in that category.
