WASHINGTON - Here's a numerical look at Wednesday night's game against the Capitals in Washington.



1 -- Number of games Victor Bartley has now played in a Canadiens uniform after making his Habs debut on Wednesday. Bartley’s first game with Montreal was also his second of the season, having previously suited up with Nashville opposite Tampa on October 20. The 28-year-old was acquired by the Canadiens on January 15.

24 -- Number of players who have picked up at least one point with the Habs this season. Bartley became the latest -- in his Habs debut no less -- with an assist on Tomas Fleischmann’s second-period tally.

2:55 - Ice time required by Dale Weise to make his mark on the scoresheet in his return to action on Wednesday night. Weise picked up an assist on Alex Galchenyuk’s first-period goal after missing the Habs’ previous game against Nashville with the flu.

7 -- Number of Canadiens players who have now scored at least 10 goals this season. Tomas Fleischmann became the latest Hab to join the club on Wednesday, hitting double digits 1:54 into the second period at the Verizon Center.

2 -- Number of goaltenders Alex Galchenyuk scored against on Wednesday night. After opening the scoring against Braden Holtby at 9:09 in the first, the 22-year-old added a second against Philipp Grubauer at 12:36 in the second.

43 -- Spot on the all-time games coached list Michel Therrien now owns sole possession of, after moving past Fred Shero with his 735th game behind an NHL bench on Wednesday.

1 -- Number of Canadian teams that have defeated the NHL-leading Washington Capitals in regulation this season. The Canadiens became the first team from north of the border to hold the Caps point-less, as Washington had entered the evening with a 12-0-2 record against Canadian opposition.
