MONTREAL – Here's a numerical look at the Habs-Islanders matchup on Thursday night at the Bell Centre.

4 – Number of goals scored by Travis Moen against the Islanders in his career, second only to the five goals he’s scored against the Coyotes and equaling his four career markers against Columbus and Washington.

0:50 – Amount of time needed by Moen to beat Evgeni Nabokov with the Canadiens’ first shot of the night to open the scoring for the Habs.

3 – Consecutive number of games in which Max Pacioretty has found the back of the net at least once, the first such streak so far in the 24-year-old’s career.

5 – Number of points racked up by David Desharnais over the past four games, keeping the streak alive with two assists after setting up Pacioretty in the first and second periods.

14 – Number of shots fired by the Canadiens in the first period against the Islanders, three shots fewer than they had all game against the Rangers on Tuesday night.

36.4 – Shooting percentage enjoyed by Pacioretty during his three-game goal streak, scoring four goals on 11 shots in the past three outings.

6 – Number of times Brandon Prust has dropped the gloves so far this year, sitting second in the league in that category after going toe-to-toe with Joe Finley in the second period.

63 – Number of opponents Prust has squared off against in his NHL fighting career, with Finley joining a long list led by Mike Brown, Cam Janssen and Rick Rypien’s four tilts against the Habs heavyweight.

5 – Number of Habs games that have needed overtime or longer to decide the winner following Thursday’s 4-3 OT loss to the Islanders.
