by Staff Writer / Montréal Canadiens

MONTREAL - Here's a numerical look at Tuesday night's game against the San Jose Sharks at the Bell Centre.

3 -- Number of Canadiens players who have won the Lou Marsh Trophy over the years, awarded annually to Canada’s top athlete. Carey Price became the third Hab in franchise history to earn the prestigious honor on Tuesday, following Maurice Richard (1957) and Guy Lafleur (1977), in addition to becoming the first goaltender overall to receive the award.

1 -- Number of shots the Sharks were able to manage through the first 16:29 of play on Tuesday night. Michel Therrien’s men tested Martin Jones nine times over that span while Brent Burns was San Jose’s sole shooter.

200 -- Number of career NHL games played by Brian Flynn, who hit the milestone against San Jose. Flynn made his NHL debut with the Buffalo Sabres on March 2, 2013 against New Jersey, and entered Tuesday’s game with a career total 21 goals and 28 assists.

11 -- Number of games Torrey Mitchell missed with a lower body injury before making his on-ice return against the team which drafted him 126th overall in 2004.

5 -- Number of career NHL fights Mitchell has now been a part of after taking on Sharks forward Barclay Goodrow late in the first period. The 30-year-old had previously dropped the gloves opposite Rene Bourque, Ryan Garbutt, Colin McDonald, and Tommy Wingels.

2 -- The Canadiens became the second team to score 100 goals this season, after Dale Weise got the Habs on the board with 2:36 left in the second period. The Habs are ranked second in goals scored across the NHL through 32 games played, behind just the Dallas Stars.

32 -- Number of games it took Dale Weise to match his career-best 10 goals scored, after previously reaching the mark over 79 games a season ago.
