by Staff Writer / Montréal Canadiens
MONTREAL – Here’s a numerical look at the Canadiens-Hurricanes matchup on Sunday night at the Bell Centre.

12 - Days since Carey Price’s last start, with the Habs’ No. 1 goalie sidelined for six games with a cold and a lower body injury. The Canadiens went 3-3 in Price’s absence.

98 - Weeks since the Canadiens last notched a win at the Bell Centre on a Sunday, dating back to a 4-3 overtime win over the Penguins on February 4, 2007.

7 - Losses suffered by the Canadiens at the hands of the ‘Canes over Carolina’s last eight visits to Montreal.

8-Game-high hits thrown by Guillaume Latendresse, who leads the Habs with 84 hits this season.

2 - Canadiens goals that were waved off on Sunday night, despite most replay angles begging to differ.

12 - Points amassed by the Canadiens with 10 games played so far in December.

2 - Points picked up against the Hurricanes by Alex Tanguay.  He now joins Alex Kovalev and Andrei Markov for the team lead with 26 points.

10 - Times over his past 11 games that Maxim Lapierre has claimed over 50 per cent of his faceoffs, with the scrappy centerman having won 8 of 12 draws against the ‘Canes.
