MONTREAL CANADIENS CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS
MONTREAL – The Montreal Canadiens officially launched today their new collaboration in street-wear apparel with internationally acclaimed designer and retailer, Off the Hook Boutique.
The CHxOTH line offers a fresh, subtle and new way for fans to show their passion. The collaboration allows young and fashion-forward designers to interpret the CH brand with contemporary flair. In addition, the entire collection has been produced in Canada with Canadian partners Roots, Barbarian, and others.
"As an organization we are committed to connecting and engaging with our fans wherever they may be, and in any number of ways," said Kevin Gilmore, the Canadiens' Chief Operating Officer. "When it comes to team apparel, this initiative with Off the Hook represents a new line of products that offers a different interpretation of our brand to consumers who've been seeking a more understated approach than the more traditional styles of licensed clothing we have seen."
“At OTH, we pride ourselves on being a culture shop. Collaborating with the Montreal Canadiens is relevant in many ways for us. Sport, street-wear fashion and heritage is really what we are about and our commitment to this project will be very refreshing for both our supporters and CH fans around the world.” said Angelo Destounis, co-founder of Off The Hook Boutique. “It's been a longtime dream to team up with the Montreal Canadiens and we are so thrilled to show people what we have worked on.”
Products from the line will be available for purchase exclusively in-store and online both at Off the Hook Boutique and offthehook.ca on Thursday.
