MONTREAL - With Christmas just around the corner, the Montreal Canadiens family will once again be actively involved in several traditional initiatives in the community.

The Foundation's RadioTéléDON - Tuesday, December 4
The Montreal Canadiens Children's Foundation is pleased to host the 10th edition of its RadioTéléDON on Tuesday, December 4, in partnership with rights holders 98,5 FM, RDS and TSN Radio 690. Presented in collaboration with Bell and Desjardins, the event aims to support the efforts of the Montreal Canadiens Children's Foundation to provide a brighter and healthier future for children in need and encourage a healthy and active lifestyle among Quebec youth.
Canadiens Alumni, including Foundation honorary patron, Guy Lafleur, the players' and coaches' spouses, as well as many Quebec celebrities will be working the phones starting at 5:00 p.m. to receive pledges from the public until the end of the game between the Canadiens and the Ottawa Senators. During warmups, players will hit the ice sporting their nicknames on the backs of their jerseys. These jerseys will be autographed and auctioned off at the beginning of the game. To participate, you must register for the digital auction here:

Annual Children's Hospitals Visit - Wednesday, December 12
Pursuing a tradition of more than 50 years, players and members of the Canadiens organization will be visiting young patients at CHU Sainte-Justine, the Montreal Children's Hospital and the Shriners Hospital for Children. The players will spread cheer and provide encouragement to support kids and their families during their visit. They will meet with children in their rooms and present each child with a gift. The team will be split up into different groups to give as many children as possible the opportunity to share some precious moments with their favorite Habs.
Opération Père Noël - Saturday, December 15
Secret Santa allows underprivileged children to experience magical moments on Christmas by opening a gift that Santa Claus has brought just for them. Since 2006, players' and coaches' wives and girlfriends have joined the movement and committed to giving presents for underprivileged children and those under the care of Youth Protection Services. To add some holiday magic, the gifts will be anonymous and kids will feel like the presents come from Santa Claus himself. To support the Christmas wishes of underprivileged youth:
