MONTREAL - Prospect Kaiden Guhle was invited to attend Canada's National Junior Team summer development camp.

One of 51 invitees, Guhle can showcase his skills at the Seven Chiefs Sportsplex on the Tsuut'ina Nation near Calgary from July 28 - August 4.
Five goaltenders, 16 defensemen and 30 forwards will attend the eight-day camp, participating in a variety of on- and off-ice sessions, according to Hockey Canada. The camp will also feature combined practices and intrasquad games with players attending Canada's National Men's Under-18 Team summer development camp.

Western scout Ben Shutron discusses Guhle's potential

Selected 16th overall by the Canadiens last October, Guhle is one of five camp invitees who claimed a silver medal at the 2021 IIHF World Junior Championship.
The 19-year-old defenseman registered three points (2 goals, 1 assist) in seven games in the tournament, and compiled a plus-8 differential.
A native of Sherwood Park, AB, Guhle made his pro debut last season with the AHL's Laval Rocket before being returned to the WHL's Prince Albert Raiders where he serves as team captain.
The 2022 IIHF World Junior Championship will be held in Edmonton and Red Deer, AB in December and January.
