MONTREAL - The Canadiens made their annual pilgrimage to some of the city's hospitals to spread holiday cheer to children patients and their families. Here's a look back at the day as it was told through social media.

Habs players fanned out to Ste. Justine, the Children's, and Shriners hospitals throughout the afternoon.

It's a holiday tradition that was started by Jean Beliveau, and has stood out on the club's community activities calendar ever since.
At the Children's, Kenny Agostino, Jonathan Drouin, and Tomas Tatar were offered some tasty treats by their new friends - but they had to decorate them first.
At the nearby Shriners, Phillip Danault and his teammates were busy ho-ho-hopping around to hand out gift bags to smiling patients.
Over at Ste. Justine, Carey Price bonded with a young fan.

Wherever there was bleu-blanc-rouge, there were also lots of smiles all around…

...from patients and families of any age...

...but it wasn't just the patients who were feeling the love on Wednesday. The feeling was definitely mutual.

Thanks to all three hospitals for having us. Habby holidays!
