In order to score against top netminders, the first shot is seldom enough, and the juicier the rebound, the more likely you are to light the lamp. This drill is useful when you have a square goalie and not much net to shoot at. Aim for the far pad; the rebound will kick out to your teammate driving the far post.

Another option for this is to shoot at the five-hole and drive for your own rebound.
