Rapid Fire - March 7

by Staff Writer / Montréal Canadiens

- Following a four-game western road trip, the Canadiens returned to Brossard where the group kicked things off with some off-ice drills on the soccer field prior to hitting the ice at the Bell Sports Complex. Michel Therrien’s troops skated for a full hour long practice ahead of Tuesday’s match-up against the Dallas Stars.

- Absent from Monday morning’s practice was forward Brendan Gallagher who suffered a lower-body injury in the Canadiens last game against Winnipeg on Saturday. In addition, Alex Galchenyuk (upper-body) and Lars Eller (lower-body) did not skate with their teammates and are considered questionable for Tuesday night’s contest against the Stars.

- Whereas, Nathan Beaulieu and Carey Price jumped on the ice prior to Monday morning's practice to continue their ongoing recovery process.
