The Canadiens will complete their home-and-away series against the Senators on Saturday afternoon with a matinee game at the Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa
In Thursday's game at the Bell Centre, the Habs rallied back from a deficit on three occasions before eventually falling 4-3 in overtime to their visitors. Michael McCarron, Brendan Gallagher, and Zach Redmond - who potted his second of preseason action - scored for the Canadiens. Matt Puempel, Bobby Ryan, and Mike Hoffman, who also notched the OT-winner, lit the lamp for the Sens. Mike Condon played the entirety of Thursday's game with Charlie Lindgren serving as back up.
McCarron will suit up for a third-consecutive game on Saturday as he looks to crack the big roster. Michel Therrien will have plenty of other young guns in his lineup for his first road game of the exhibition calendar, including Stefan Matteau, Nikita Scherbak, Charles Hudon, Noah Juulsen, and Ryan Johnston.
As they did on Thursday in Montreal, the Sens will once again ice a veteran-heavy lineup against the Habs. In addition to Kyle Turris, Derick Brassard, and Ryan, Guy Boucher will also count on the services of All-Star blue-liner Erik Karlsson, who will make his preseason debut against the Canadiens after representing Team Sweden at the World Cup of Hockey tournament. The Senators' full lineup can be found HERE.
Al Montoya will get the start in the game and Zachary Fucale will also be in uniform in the nation's capital. Andrew Hammond will be between the pipes for the Sens when the puck drops at 3 :00 p.m. ET.
