Canadiens Rangers

CANADIENS (31-20-8) @ RANGERS (38-19-1)
The Canadiens will try to get back on the winning track on Tuesday night at Madison Square Garden when they go up against the New York Rangers.

Claude Julien will be going in search of his first win behind the Canadiens bench since taking over for Michel Therrien. Julien saw his squad fall 3-1 to the Winnipeg Jets in his debut on Saturday afternoon at the Bell Centre.
Following Tuesday's morning skate, Julien confirmed one lineup change with Greg Pateryn dressing in place of Nikita Nesterov on the back end.
Coming out on top at Madison Square Garden certainly won't be easy. The Rangers have won 10 of their last 13 games, including their most recent outing - a 2-1 victory over the Washington Capitals.

During that contest, Derek Stepan suffered a slight hip injury which forced him to miss Monday's practice session. Head coach Alain Vigneault confirmed, however, that Stepan will play on Tuesday night.
The Canadiens registered a 5-4 win over the Rangers in mid-January at the Bell Centre. They've also won four of their last five meetings over New York.
Carey Price and Henrik Lundqvist will be going head-to-head between the pipes on Tuesday. Price will be making his first visit to New York since November 25, 2015 when he suffered a season-ending knee injury.
